Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be held within a standard humanoid cell however no entity is to be within 25 metres in any direction of SCP-XXXX's cell unless authorized by a level 3 personnel or higher. SCP-XXXX must be given 3 meals per day and should receive leisure rewards for compliance with research personnel.

SCP-XXXX has currently shown no aggression towards any foundation personnel and has shown complete compliance and eagerness with any tests or research questions. SCP-XXXX has displayed adoration towards the foundation in general as well as enthusiasm to be spoken with.

SCP-XXXX posses an emotional transfer effect which functions by unknown means. Any living organism within 25 metres of SCP-XXXX, will begin feeling the emotions of SCP-XXXX, however to higher degree. (No effect is produced if SCP-XXXX is not feeling any particular emotion.) An example of this is if SCP-XXXX is feeling slightly agitated, any entity within its range will become enraged and may be subject to rampages. The effects of SCP-XXXX will affect any being capable of feeling emotion including animals and other SCPs. Affected individuals will often convey confusion about their changed state however they will be unable to feel any emotion other than that of which they were affected with. The outcome of those who are affected by SCP-XXXX leads to 2 possibilities. There is an 11% possibility that the effects of SCP-XXXX will be permanent and irreversible. Instances such as this will be known as SCP-XXXX-A. If the effects do not become perpetual, then they will slowly decrease over the course of 2 days, returning the subject to their original state. There is no cure or treatment for this outcome other than to keep SCP-XXXX-A drugged and unconscious. Despite this, SCP-XXXX can also effect others by using positive emotions, giving temporary or permanent feeling of joy or content. SCP-XXXX should be prompted through the use of stimuli if a particular emotion is required.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered in █████, Canada, at a local mall on ██/██/20██. SCP-XXXX had dropped an item and became agitated. This resulted in the one hundred and 114 people occupying the sector becoming extremely agitated and some began demolishing objects within the area. The mall was exceedingly damaged when Foundation personnel arrived and 15 victims of SCP-XXXX's effects were put in psych wards due to their indefinite condition. SCP-XXXX was captured after reviewing security camera footage.

Prior History SCP-XXXX is of unknown origin and heritage and was found as a small child, deserted at the side of a road. SCP-XXXX is assumed to have been altered or changed by unknown entities however it is also possible that SCP-XXXX was abandoned by its parents due to its effect. SCP-XXXX was taken into an orphanage after being found by local authorities however the caretakers committed suicide, also assumed by SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX moved orphanages every several weeks, repeating a pattern of insanity, assumed by the stress of children, until it was 18 years of age. By this time, SCP-XXXX was aware of its properties and began to avoid people, living in rural areas, away from large populations and people overall. This had a lasting effect on SCP-XXXX causing it to lack social interaction for the majority of its life, resulting in SCP-XXXX developing an acute depression. Over the course of 9 years, SCP-XXXX's desire to enjoy social interaction grew until it conceded and went to a crowded area to enjoy the company of people for a short period, leading to its exposure.

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX

Interviewer: Dr. ██████

Foreword: The following interview was executed through the use of a microphone and speakers, keeping researchers at a safe distance from SCP-XXXX

<Begin Log>

Dr. ██████: Hello SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX: Um hi.

Dr. ██████: I'm going to ask you some questions but before we begin, would you like to be referred as something other then SCP-XXXX?

SCP-XXXX: Well, I've never had a name so I guess XXXX is fine. Wait a minute I'm not going to hurt anyone right?

Dr. ██████: No, all personnel are at a same distance from you.

SCP-XXXX: Ok that's good.

Dr. ██████: Do you know where you came from?

SCP-XXXX: Somewhat, everyone tells me that I was found at the side of the road but I remember something more than that.

SCP-XXXX: Well when I was really young, like 3 or 4 maybe, I remember feeling weird in the night. I woke up to see blinding lights and lots of shadows. And there was this buzzing or static noise. Then my head went cold, like a brain-freeze or something.

Dr. ██████: Are you claiming you had an encounter with extra-terrestrials?

SCP-XXXX: Uhhh, yes.

Dr. ██████: Are you implying you were changed by these individuals or created?

SCP-XXXX: I don't know. I barely remember it, I was so young.

Dr. ██████: Hm. Well let's move on. What do you think of the foundation?

SCP-XXXX: The foundation is awesome! I mean it's a little creepy and boring but its doing the right thing. Now I don't…

Dr. ██████: Hurt people?

SCP-XXXX: Yeah, that.

Dr. ██████: XXXX why were you at that mall if you dislike harming others?

[SCP-XXXX does not respond]

Dr. ██████: XXXX?

SCP-XXXX: I didn’t mean to. I just couldn’t be alone. I thought I could just enjoy being in a crowd of people. Just for a bit. I didn’t mean to.

Dr. ██████: Thank you for your cooperation XXXX.

SCP-XXXX: Wait. I’ll get to talk to you again right? Or someone? Please?

Dr. ██████: I’ll see what I can do.

SCP-XXXX: But only if no ones at risk.

Dr. ██████: Of course.
