Special Containment Procedures: Site-[REDACTED] is to be cordoned off and disguised as a condemned and structurally unsound building, and monitored by Foundation agents posing as local authorities. Access to the site is strictly prohibited to civilians and Foundation personnel without proper clearance.
Description: Site-[REDACTED] was once a research facility operated by Doctor Explonang, a former Foundation researcher who proposed this site as his last SCP-001 proposal before his untimely disappearance. The site was used for the study and experimentation of anomalous entities and objects, including those that posed a significant danger to human life.
However, during a routine testing procedure, a containment breach occurred and several SCPs within the site were released into the surrounding area. Foundation personnel were dispatched to contain the situation, but were met with unexpected resistance from both the SCPs and Dr. Explonang himself.
In the ensuing chaos, Dr. Explonang activated a self-destruct sequence within the facility, causing a catastrophic explosion that destroyed much of the site and resulted in the loss of all personnel within.
Since the incident, the site has been abandoned and left to deteriorate, and the surrounding area has been deemed an anomalous zone due to the lingering effects of the SCPs that were released during the breach. Reports of strange occurrences and unexplained phenomena have been reported in the area, including sightings of humanoid entities and bizarre fluctuations in local reality.
As such, access to the site is strictly prohibited, and any unauthorized personnel found within the area are to be detained and interrogated for possible connections to anomalous activity.
Note: Dr. Explonang's whereabouts remain unknown, and it is unknown whether he survived the incident or not. Any information regarding his whereabouts or possible involvement in anomalous activities is to be reported immediately to Foundation authorities.
