Special Containment Procedures: SCP-12145 is to be kept in a standard anomalous item locker at Site-██. Access to SCP-12145 is to be granted only to personnel with Level 2 clearance or higher, and must be used only for research purposes.

Description: SCP-12145 is a regular old book with the cover and the back cover completely blank. The only page that has been found within SCP-12145 is a single page with the text "book 1000" printed in the center of it. The text appears to have been printed using a type of ink that is not found on any other page or section of the book.

When opened, SCP-12145 emits a faint odor of aged paper, but otherwise appears to be an ordinary blank book. The pages are clean, with no visible signs of wear or tear, and no ink or other writing or markings have been found on any of them except for the single page mentioned above.

SCP-12145 was discovered in a used bookstore in [REDACTED], [REDACTED]. The book was found lying on a shelf with other books, but there was no price tag or other identification on it. The bookstore owner claimed to have no knowledge of how the book had come into their possession, and it is unclear how long the book had been on the shelf.

Despite extensive analysis and testing, no anomalous properties have been found to exist in SCP-12145 except for the enigmatic single page with the text "book 1000." The meaning and purpose of this message remain unknown, and no explanation has been found for why the text appears only on this one page of the book. Further research is ongoing to determine the origins and possible significance of SCP-12145.
