Special Containment Procedures: SCP-12148 is to be stored in a standard anomalous object locker at Site-██. Access to SCP-12148 requires Level 2 clearance and must be approved by at least two Level 3 personnel.

Description: SCP-12148 is a standard six-sided dice, measuring 1.5 cm on each side. The dice appears to be made of bone and is engraved with numerals in a language currently unknown to the Foundation. When rolled, SCP-12148 will produce a voice similar to that of Mr. Ele██, a deceased individual whose voice has been archived in the Foundation's audio database.

The voice produced by SCP-12148 will say one of the following phrases:

"You're in luck!"
"Better luck next time."
"You have been chosen."
"You have been rejected."
"You're on thin ice."
"Things are looking up."
The voice produced by SCP-12148 is audible to anyone within a 10 meter radius of the dice. The source of the voice has yet to be determined, as no speakers or other audio equipment have been found within SCP-12148.

SCP-12148 was recovered from an antique shop in ████████, where it was being sold as a novelty item. The shop owner reported no anomalous activity associated with the object and claimed to have acquired it from an estate sale. Further investigation into the origins of SCP-12148 is ongoing.
