Special Containment Procedures: Due to its immense size and depth below Earth's surface, SCP-XXXX cannot be directly contained. Established procedures regarding SCP-XXXX currently focus on the both the monitoring of SCP-XXXX-related seismic activity and prevention of widespread public knowledge of SCP-XXXX. There are currently no known access points to SCP-XXXX, and thus all research and monitoring must be done remotely.
Site-██ has been constructed over what is presumed to be the epicenter of SCP-XXXX's seismic activity, and is the primary research location of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is to be monitored on a 24-hour basis, via seismographic and GPR equipment installed at Site-██, for any significant deviations in SCP-XXXX seismic intensity or frequency. Such changes are to be reported immediately to any lead research staff assigned to SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a massive, subterranean chain of freestanding rectangular structures arranged in sequence, located roughly ███ meters below Earth's surface. Imaging tests suggest that each individual structure (designated SCP-XXXX-1) is approximately ███ by ██ meters in size, with roughly ██ meters of free space between each structure. Collection of SCP-XXXX samples is currently impossible, and thus the composition and origin of SCP-XXXX cannot be determined.
Occasionally, SCP-XXXX will produce intense seismic waves that emanate from its epicenter, ranging in intensity from 4.5 MMS on the Richter Scale to [REDACTED]. These waves will often cause significant tremors in instances of SCP-XXXX-1 (Refer to Addendum XXXX-2). Despite multiple recorded events of significant seismic activity, SCP-XXXX-1 instances have yet to collapse.
The possible effects of a complete SCP-XXXX collapse are unknown. However, it has been speculated that due to the sheer mass of SCP-XXXX-1 instances, such an event may cause seismic tremors of magnitude significant enough to cause a [DATA EXPUNGED].
Addendum XXXX-1:On ██/██/20██, an anomalous low-frequency radio emission was detected near Site-██. The emission is currently under analysis to determine possible linkage to SCP-XXXX.
Addendum XXXX-2: The following memorandum was issued by Site Director S████ on ██/██/199█:
I want to make something abundantly clear. At this point, we really don't have a clue what would happen if SCP-XXXX was to get knocked down by itself. But there are a few things we do know. For one, the number of earthquakes within SCP-XXXX is increasing. Two, so is the intensity. Three, the dominoes are going to collapse. We just don't know when.
