SCP-6023 BACKGROUND INFORMATION.

SCP-6023 was discovered during the raid of an illegal drug company based in Austin, Texas in 1996, not 2019. [FBI, CIA, TFA, ICE, and Foundation agents raided the compound together in a co-op operation.]
The Mind Control Agents were discovered in more secure parts of the compound, which were heavily guarded. While most of the guards were shot and killed, the living ones were detained for questioning and prosecution. (Most of the people in that facility were either illegal immigrants from Mexico or major war-lord criminals with outstanding warrants from across the entire United States.) These Mind Control Agents were deemed to be the cause of several incidents in the State of Texas were people who saw the illegal operations were poisoned by the gangsters in order to "silence" them and prevent their operation from being exposed.
