Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in the parking garage of Site-22. A soundproof box is to be constructed over SCP-XXXX's designated parking space. Personnel entering SCP-XXXX or it's containment unit are to be equipped with noise-cancelling headphones. No personnel are permitted to enter SCP-XXXX under any circumstance. All researchers exiting SCP-XXXX's containment unit are to be immediately escorted to the nearest interrogation room.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a standard New York City ambulance. Though SCP-XXXX appears to be in very poor condition, it is still fully capable of all of it's functions. Between the hours of 3-5 AM, SCP-XXXX will enter an active state and will emit loud screams as well as dialogue from, presumably, when it was in use. Personnel within SCP-XXXX will enter a trance state in which they feel all of the pain they have inflicted upon themselves and others. Though these events almost always last until SCP-XXXX's activation, subjects report only feeling the sensation for a few minutes. Subjects also report being removed from SCP-XXXX by an entity in a standard paramedic uniform. Interviewed subjects will often state the entity manifested as the person they hurt the most.
Initial Retrieval, 8/10/96: SCP-XXXX was brought to the foundation's attention when emergency services received several phone calls about very violent screaming coming from their neighbor's house. The activation period ended before the police officers arrived, among them was Dr. Malcolm. SCP-XXXX was parked in the driveway. Dr. Malcolm contacted the Foundation and the location was put under surveillance until the following night when it was confirmed SCP-XXXX did indeed possess anomalous properties. Two D-Class personnel were dispatched to the location and were tasked to drive the vehicle to the nearest facility.
